Tatsuha has apparently moved into my apartment to help me "deal with my troubles", although I think it has more to do with him feeling lonely in Kyoto. I guess I understand that.

Not much has changed since I found my way home again, aside from the Shuichi thing and the little version of myself thing and and the puppy thing the 'everyone fucking disappearing' thing. I've still got my job, like it or not. Mizuki-the-editor-from-hell is demanding something new within the week. (How 'new' can I get away with? 'New' as in she's-never-seen-it-before new or 'new' as in something-I-slaved-over-between-the-day-she-called-and-Saturday new? It better fucking be the former.)

Momo is fine. He's Tatsuha's new responsibility.

Eh. It's fine. Doesn't make you different from much of anyone else.

You might be surprised. I'm quite the charmer when I want to be.

I don't have any use for a cook. How do you like dogs?

That so?

Hm. I can't vouch on the bent on killing you, but I'm pretty sure it's just a regular dog, if fucking annoying. Any interest in temporary employment as a dog walker? My brother is useless for that kind of thing, and I have shit to do.

Heh. I wouldn't spread that around if I were you.

Or that, come to think of it.

Here's the address. You can meet the dog. Who knows? Maybe he'll flatter you enough for you to get yourself a friend.

[insert address here]

It doesn't say much for your self-esteem, that's all.

And that makes you sound like some kind of whore, much to my amusement.

Hell no. I have all the friends I need. But it's a pretty fucking ugly dog; maybe you'll look better in comparision.

That just makes you sound like a jerk.

About time.

I'm famous for it.

Eiri. Uesugi Eiri. But it'll be my brother who answers the door -- he's Tatsuha. And he's about as much of an asshole as I am.

((ooc: and on hiatus. *coff* Pay no attention to the invisible brother behind the curtain!))

...riiiight.

Your self image isn't important?

I realize that. I was just warning you that I'm impervious to comments on my behaviour, generally less-than-nice social graces, and rudeness.

Hm. It sounds like you aren't often bored, at least.

I didn't say you couldn't.

That's... a matter of intepretation. Are you intentionally dense?

Since ever. It's like bladder damage. It just happens, and it's character building.

...we've all got to compensate somehow, I suppose.

Nowhere, right now. Tatsuha seems to think that if I leave, the whole world will go with me. Given that there's apparently no one he knows in Kyoto, I guess that makes sense.

I'll think about it. Where is it?

It's hard without a laptop and no one at NG seems to be answering the phones, annoyingly.

Come to Paris, it'll be work unrelated. I promise ♥
